PACKAGING & BRAND ASSETS FOR THE WANDERING PIG
The Wandering Pig is a local producer of plant-based and vegan food and drink. This rebrand and packaging design project shows a full logo redesign including logo lockup and brand kit as well as packaging redesign for the cafe and local street food market stall.
The creative journey for this project began with the challenge of not just redesigning a brand but telling a compelling story. The goal was clear: communicate that The Wandering Pig’s dishes were crafted entirely without animal products. We embraced the oxymoronic imagery of a pig, symbolising the cuisine, and skillfully intertwined it with the words “wandering” and “plant-based” to underscore the vegan nature of the business and its products.

I crafted a new logo system that seamlessly integrated the pig imagery with an aesthetic that struck a line between modern simplicity and vintage type layouts. The evolution involved a thoughtful balance, ensuring the visual identity conveyed the plant-based commitment while retaining a sense of familiarity for existing customers of the business.
Packaging Design
The packaging redesign extended this narrative to an everyday tactile experience. With packaging, every box, every label becomes a canvas to tell your brand story, conveying the dedication to quality, ethics, and, of course, the delicious food contained within.
The result of this project is a redefined brand identity that not only resonates with The Wandering Pig’s plant-based ethos but also communicates it vividly to customers. From the inviting café ambiance to the bustling local street food market stall, every touchpoint echoes the story of The Wandering Pig - a celebration of mindful, delicious dining that leaves no room for compromise.
